Canteen 

Hello!

Our names are Karran Zanker and Michelle Blackmore, we are the new joint canteen managers for this year. We have both been volunteering in the canteen for a few years and are looking forward to continuing the great work of the school canteen! The canteen's opening days and hours will remain  9am til 12 noon, Tuesday to Friday. The canteen is closed on Mondays.

The QKR cut off time for orders is 9am each day. If you have pre-ordered lunch for a child who will be absent, please ring us directly to cancel or hold their order, by 9.30 am. The school will transfer the call to the canteen.

It is no secret that COVID has been tough on small businesses and unfortunately our little canteen is not immune. One of our first tasks has been to review pricing and there will be some price increases coming into effect from next week (Week 6). Children have received an updated paper copy of the menu this week, however, the QKR app is the best way to keep up with the current availability of products. The children have been quick to notice the return of a favourite frozen treat, Ice Monys! Also, keep an eye out for our Italian day special coming up. If you need help setting up QKR, please ask at the office or come down and see us one morning.

We would love your feedback on our current range and suggestions for new items you’d like to see available. Please send us an email if you have ideas.

We are also excited to finally be welcoming volunteers back onsite! There are lots of different ways to help in the canteen. It’s not all cooking! Please come in and pick up a volunteer pack from the canteen or the office if you are interested.
