School Tours & Enrolments for 2023

Dates for school tours for term 2 have been set and published to the community.  Anyone wanting to book a school tour should do so by contacting the school.  

Enrolments for 2023 are open and we ideally like to have enrolment forms submitted by the end of June to assist with planning for the following year.  If you have siblings commencing in 2023, please obtain an enrolment pack from the school office or download the enrolment form from the school website.  When submitting enrolment forms, please attach a copy of the child's birth certificate and immunisation history.

Thank you to the parents/carers who have offered to take the Enrol Now flyers to local kindergartens/child care centres to display.  If anyone is able to assist with this please contact the office.

Parents & Friends News

Our newly formed Parents & Friends (P&F) Group have been busy organising some fundraising events, a cake stall on Election Day at the school and a Winter Raffle to be drawn at the end of term 2.  

Cake Stall: this year, Newham Primary School will be a polling station at the upcoming Election (Saturday 21st May). This is a fantastic fundraising opportunity for our school and the P&F are coordinating a cake stall on the day.

We need your help with baking cake stall items and cake stall manning. We are seeking donations of slices, cakes and biscuits for us to sell on Saturday.  If families are able to bake a slice or cake, please drop it at the Newham General store from 2pm Friday or at 8am on Saturday at the school.  All items need to be labelled with the list of ingredients.  (Plates and labels are available from the Newham General store if needed).  If you are able to assist with running the stall on the day please contact Megan - 0458 020 026.  The P&F committee is meeting at 2:30pm on Friday at the Store - we would love to see you there.

Winter Raffle: raffle tickets have been distributed to the eldest child in each family. Donations for the prizes can be made by placing items in the boxes located on the bench outside the staff room (please enter via school reception).  Boxes have been labelled for each home group.
