SCIENCE
YEAR 9
Year 9 Science students are studying co-ordination and control of the human body. They have been completing brain dissections to gain a better understanding of a brain’s structure and function.
Our eyes are one of the most fascinating and complex parts of the body. How much do we really know about them, and how do they work?
The structures and functions of eyes are complex. Year 9 Science students are studying co-ordination and control of the human body. By doing a Cow eye dissection, they get to see the complexity of the eye, and gain a better understanding of it's structure and function.
YEAR 10
Year 10 Science students have been completing a Water Rocket design and launch CAT as part of their Physics unit. They had to research, design, construct and fly water rockets, then compare how the nose cone and fin designs affected the flight of their rockets. Launch day was recently held, some designs flying better than others!
