Group 2

Education Week 

We are proud to showcase the teaching and learning in Group 2.  Structured teaching is a system of organising the classroom and making teaching processes and practices fit the unique learning styles of each student. Students learn new skills at STAR station and generalise these skills to classroom routines and activities. Students earn tickets for displaying the school wide expectations.

All the children in Group 2 have been working hard in the areas of Structured Teaching and continue to develop their independence using the STAR program. In the Early Education section children are at the start of their learning journey. Classroom activities are focused on learning the elements of structured teaching. It has been fantastic to observe their progress as they continue to be motivated and rewarded for their great efforts with lots of specific praise and tickets to use at our Monash One Stop Shop. Well done, keep up the great work.
