Lunch Time Activities

Our lunchtime activities this term have included student-led, teacher-led, and focus/strategy group sessions. A small group of students who participated in these activities shared their thoughts.

Harry G: Foundation

I like the lunch time activities because sometimes we get to go outside, play with teddy bears and toys, pretend to go horse riding, and to sing with Mrs P. It makes me feel good and excited.

Gabe G: Year 1/2

I like the lunch time activities because we get to do fun activities especially the music ones. Last week we went outside, and we had toy animals and balanced them on our bodies. Mrs P then sings a song and when she finishes the song, we throw the toys up in the air and try and catch them.

Jed G: Year 3/4

I like that we get to do fun activities like exploring how people are different such as through our fingerprints. It also helps everyone to get along with each other by learning new things and finding out what we have in common. I learnt that another group member loves basketball and I do too.

Tegan S: Year 3/4

I like lunch time activities because I get to play my favourite musical instrument, the ukulele. I also enjoy it because I get to spend time with my friends who also play the ukulele.

Mia J: Year 5/6

I enjoy the lunch time activities where I get to make friends with others in the group and learn new strategies to make more friends. I also like the activity where we used our fingerprints and I learnt that everyone in the world is different and that we are all unique in our own way.
