World Teachers' Day

Australia will celebrate teachers on World Teachers’ Day on Friday 28 October 2022. 

We'd like to take a moment to thank the wonderful teachers we have in the Mt A community. We thank them for the dedication to our students and pursuit of excellence.

Today we'd like to specially thank the following teachers at Mt A and congratulate them on their recent achievements. 

2022 Bonaventure Exceptional Practitioners

Mrs Jeni Barlow and Mrs Paula Egan received our 2022 Bonaventure Exceptional Practitioners award at our Celebration of Excellence Ceremony. We thank them for their dedication to the pursuit of excellence and value their commitment to our community. 

ACHPER Excellence in Teaching Award

Mrs Tamara Richardson recently received an Excellence in Teaching Award from the Australian Council of Health and Physical Education. We are proud to share this news and thank Mrs Richardson for her dedication and expertise in the Health learning area! 

Certified Highly Accomplished Teacher (HAT)

Ms Caroline McLean recently completed her Highly Accomplished Teacher (HAT) certification. We are grateful to have such accomplished staff like Caroline within our community and commend her success in the rigorous yet rewarding HAT certification process.
