Narelle’s dedication to the teaching of sport and PE is unparalleled and we will be forever grateful for her commitment, energy, and coordination of the many cocurricular, and specialist sporting programs and competitions offered in the Junior School. Junior School Leadership Program

Last week, our Year 5 students took part in the first ever Loreto Junior School Leadership programme. The girls joined other Loreto Schools across Australia to learn what it was like to be a leader in the spirit of Mary Ward. The girls heard from Carolyn Young from Loreto Ministries and Fiza Khosla from Mary Ward International Australia. Our very own Head Girl Tahlia and Social Justice Captain Ayshia spoke to our students about what inspired them to become a Loreto School Leader, they also lead the girls in a leadership activity. In the afternoon, the girls joined online with Year 5 students from Loreto Kirribilli to discuss what they learned and how they can be Loreto leaders in Year 6.

Year 1 Excursion to Cleland

In Week 2, the Year 1 students headed to the Cleland Wildlife Park to view Australian animals in their habitats. The girls are learning about the external features of animals and how they adapt and survive in their habits. The girls loved viewing, patting and even feeding the animals. What a fabulous day!

Senior Musical - Seussical the Musical

Loreto is excited to present the 2022 Senior Musical, Seussical the Musical. The girls have been working extra hard since the beginning of Term 3 to bring this awesome show to the PAC Theatre stage.

In this fascinating musical journey, Dr Seuss helps us all to believe in the value and dignity of others and in the pure power of the imagination, and this is at the very heart of the show.

Come along and listen to a great story, hear some awesome music, see some cool choreography and of course, support our girls.

Discontinuation of Music Lessons

Please note that the policy at Loreto College is for parents to provide at least four weeks’ notice before the end of term in order to discontinue instrumental music tuition. However, due to the lesser number of weeks in Term 4 and the longer holiday break, we have extended the deadline for this notice to be given. The process is carried out by filling in a Discontinuation of Lessons form. If sufficient notice has not been given, tutors will charge for the next term’s fees.

Please ensure these forms are in by Friday 25 November.
