Remembrance Day

On 11 November Grade 6 students Tom and Nyla travelled to the South Arm RSL with 

Mr Gill to represent John Paul II Catholic School at the Remembrance Service.  

Tom and Nyla laid a wreath on behalf of the school community.  They represented the school with dignity and respect.    

The Little Things Kindness Initiative | Community Outreach Program 

Grade 5/6 Huon and Sassafras

Using the money they raised at their icy pole day days, Grade 5 and 6 students are putting together personalised Christmas gift bags, filled with chocolatey treats to share with local children who are living in supported accommodation this Christmas.

We also spent some time discussing their experience of kindness and how it impacts them and also how they can be 'leaders in kindness' as they transition into Grade 6 and 7.

Such an inspiring group of young minds and hearts with so much kindness to offer, they are a joy to work with!
