2022 SWIMMING CARNIVAL

The 2022 Swimming Carnival has been booked for Friday 18th February 2022. 

CRICKET

I received information last week that cricket will start on 6th November. Please keep an eye out on Compass for how to register for this.

The levels are below

Junior Blaster - children in Kindergarten and Year 1 2021. (8am - 9am)

Master Blaster - children in Year 2 and Year 3 2021. (9:30am - 11am)

Year 4/5 - children in Year 4 2021. (8:30am - 10:30am)

Year 5/6 - children in Year 5 2021. (8:30am - 10:30am)

Year 6 - children in Year 6 2021. (8:30am - 11:30am)

 

I ask that you DO NOT register your child in the wrong age / year group as it causes issues with organising teams and having the numbers required. Cricket is one sport that does not have reserves and it is not fair to the children who have waited their time to reach a certain age group to then have younger, often less skilled children playing in their team. 

 

I am also asking for parents to volunteer to help out by either coaching, managing or scoring for the team. 

FUTSAL

At this stage Futsal for Term 4 will go ahead starting on Monday 1st November 2021 and conclude on Monday 20th December 2021. Teams need to be registered by MONDAY 25th OCTOBER. YOU NEED TO CLICK ON EVENTS ON COMPASS TO FIND THE CRICKET AND FUTSAL REGISTRATIONS

TOUCH FOOTBALL

This is the current message from Tamworth Touch Football Association

Primary competition to start Monday 25th October 2021 and run through to 13th December 2021.  There will be no finals series and our last day will be a Gala Day with plenty of activities and games for everyone.

The cost will be $25.00.  Any players that registered and paid $50.00 will be entitled to a refund.  We are currently working on how this will work.

 We will be accepting new teams and players.

 

NOTE: COVID SAFE INSTRUCTIONS -

All people attending the gathering must be:

  • Fully vaccinated; or
  • under 16 years of age; or
  • have been issued with a medical contraindication certificate compliant with the Order
  • Check in is required and physical distancing is a must.

REGISTRATION for new players. 

Note if you registered your child in August they are already in a team. Team details will be sent out next week.

BASKETBALL

At this stage Basketball will resume on October 26th playing 8 rounds and finishing on the 16th December. Teams that were registered in Term 3 will be the teams that will play. There is no need to do anything except turn up to play.
