This season, Cate was the top goal scorer for the team, helping them finish the season undefeated. She was also one of only two girls selected to train with the Perth Glory boys team for a session a week during the season.

Cate is currently playing for the Fremantle Wolves at Pro Futsal and two years ago represented Australia in Barcelona for a World Cup competition.

Cate is due to travel to the Gold Coast, Queensland in January 2022 to compete in the Under 15s State Futsal Competition against other states.

Blair Louis, Year 9

Congratulations to Year 9 student, Blair Louis who recently co-directed The Adventures of Little Red Robin Hood for Art In Motion Theatre Company. This was performed as part of YouthFULL at Don Russell Performing Arts Centre, before taking the production to YOUTHFest at Marloo Theatre. After spending time in the Director’s chair, Blair took over the role of Grandma – which he did in a very humorous manner with some quick improvisation skills.

Alexis Atkins and Helen Stark, Year 7

Congratulations to Year 7 students, Alexis Atkins and Helen Stark who recently performed in Moana Jr. with Roleystone Theatre in the ensemble of the Senior Youth Production. Both students played villagers, and Alexis also participated in the showstopping number “Shiny” in a cleverly choreographed dance that made the ensemble appear as if they were the limbs of Tamotoa – the crab. Alexis also took on a role as part of the Ocean ensemble – learning multiple dances and songs in just one rehearsal.
