Seeking Host Families For Students From Our French Sister School

Please contact Kelly Farrell, via email farrell.kelly.k@edumail.vic.gov.au  if you are interested in hosting a student from our sister school, lycée Darchicourt, in France when they visit next year.

The French students are arriving, Monday 10 February 2020 and departing, Wednesday 26 February 2020. Pick ups and drop offs are from Lilydale High School – no driving to the airport.

Each day, the French student will come to school with their host brother / sister and either partake in classes or meet up with the other French students for excursions, during school hours. They will then return home at the end of the school day with their host brother / sister.

All that is required of your family is a bed, food and a willingness to open your home and share a little of your daily life here in Australia. In return, you will learn something about the French view of life and make a friend on the other side of the world.

Many of the students are in an advanced English program and all of them have been selected to  be a part of the exchange. (There were almost four times the number of applicants as there were places, so this is a sought after opportunity for these students).

The students are from a senior high school (un lycée) so they will be between 15 and 18 years old.  We will receive profiles of all of the French students shortly and will match students with the most appropriate host families.
