Railway Crossing
The pedestrian railway crossings on Warrigal Road, Mentone are being upgraded to a safer, more accessible rail crossings with automatic safety gates, emergency exit buttons, fencing and safety signage.
Short delays expected
From Wednesday 3 June until Tuesday 23 June 2015 works will take place. During works, the crossings will remain open but short delays can be expected.
During works crossing supervisors will be on site to direct pedestrians safely through the crossings. For your safety, please advise your school community to obey instructions from our crossing supervisors
Informing the community
VicTrack will ensure the local community and stakeholders understand the purpose and likely impacts of the works. VicTrack will contact the local Council, schools and local community contacts to ensure they are made aware of the works. VicTrack will also place advertising in the local newspaper and distribute notices to local residents prior to the start of works.
