Molly’s artwork features in the City of Casey Recycling Calendar

During term 3, students from grades 3 and 4 submitted artwork into the Casey recycling calendar competition.  The artwork focussed on two themes: why we should recycle? and what happens to our recycling?  The students worked very hard to produce some fantastic posters which competed with artwork from ten other local schools. 

We were very excited to find out that Molly Thomson of 3A was selected as one of the winning students and her artwork features in the 2016 City of Casey recycling calendar.  On Monday, Molly and the other winning students attended the launch of the recycling calendar which was held at the Civic Centre.  

At the event, the Mayor presented Molly with a certificate and printed copies of the calendar which feature her artwork.  Well done Molly!
