20 Year Reunion - Class of 2003
It’s always great fun hosting a 20-year reunion, and welcoming back the Class of 2003 was no exception!
The evening was filled with lots of familiar faces, big smiles, lots of laughter, canapes and drinks, a slide show of old journal photos, and a tour of the school, followed by drinks at the Mentone RSL.
We loved hearing the stories from our Old Collegians about their friends, their teachers, the classes they loved (and maybe didn’t love as much!) and all the cheeky ways they managed to get in and out of trouble.
Whether it’s the first time our Old Collegians have been back on campus since graduating, or their sons or grandsons are St Bede’s College students, it’s always our pleasure to host our community here at St Bede’s.

An eager group of students from the Class of 1983 joined us last month for their 40 year reunion! Over 55 guests attending the evening, including well-respected staff members Brother Bill Firman, Allan Drummond, Paul Swannie, Vincent Underwood and Peter Wintle.

2023 Finian Foundation Charity Golf Day Sponsorship Opportunities

It’s the event of the year!
Tickets are selling fast for what is always the biggest event on the Old Collegians calendar, the Finian Foundation Charity Golf Day. This event includes:
- 18 holes at Rossdale Golf Club
- Breakfast
- Complimentary drinks cart
- Two-course lunch
- A guest speaker
- Prizes to be won
Most importantly, 100% of funds raised are given to families of current St Bede’s College students who are experiencing severe economic hardship.
Last year’s event raised $45,008.20 for our community of families in need.

2023 Finian Foundation Appeal - BeDa Difference
The Finian Foundation is a registered charity with a proud history of providing financial aid to St Bede’s College families who are undergoing significant economic hardship.
This year’s Finian Foundation Appeal is called BeDa Difference.
As the Beda Community, we’ve come together on many occasions over the last 85 years to help those in need.
This year, our aim is to raise $55,000 to help more than 20 families within our Community. With the cost of living at increasingly high rates, plus mortgage and rental stress, we’ve seen a significant increase in grant applications for the Finian Foundation.
These grants provide financial relief to St Bede’s families in urgent need towards school fees, uniforms, laptops, travel to and from School, excursions, musical equipment, specialist tutoring and other education related expenses.
