Outdoor Education Collaboration

St Brigid’s / Mazenod College Outdoor Education Collaboration

The co-class Outdoor Ed lessons with St Brigid’s continued with both Year 11s and Year 12s completing skills challenges and relays. This follows on from our recent collaboration and looks set to become more regular.

The lessons are designed for Mazenod College Outdoor Ed students to meet with St Brigid’s Outdoor Ed students to develop social skills whilst enjoying outdoor pursuits.

St Brigid’s welcomed us, and our new inflatable stand up paddle boards (iSUPs) and it has been a very enjoyable program so far.

Congratulations to all students who tackled the lessons and learnt many skills in a fun environment. Thank you to St Brigid’s Teacher, Mr Luke Forde, for his continued support of the program.

There are many opportunities to collaborate in Outdoor Ed in the future including more after school sessions, class sessions, Bibbulmun Track custodian trips and even camps – so watch this space!
