Italian Lesson on Pasta Making

Fresh Pasta Making Fun!

During Week 9 students studying Italian engaged in the first of various activities to celebrate the study of languages. This term the Year 8’s participated in a Fresh Pasta Making lesson to finish their course and initiate the Languages Week celebrations. This followed a lesson analysing the intricacies of the recipe in Italian. It was a fun activity and fantastic to see the boys delving into this activity with enthusiasm. Not to mention the culinary skills that emerged among the students!

These activities will continue into the next term , where more language-related events will take place during lessons in both Year 7 and the Semester Two Year 8 Italian classes. The culmination of the Languages Week celebrations will be a lunchtime interactive activity at the end of Week 4, with a raffle, quizzes, photo booth and roving musical entertainment! It's wonderful to be part of these enriching activities at Mazenod College. Thank you to the boys for their display of manners, participation and enthusiasm during the pasta making lessons last week.
