Dear Parents and Carers

As we reach the end of Term 2, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the blessings, achievements, and growth that we have experienced as a Catholic school community. It has been a period of growth in faith and learning, and I am immensely grateful for the dedication and commitment of each and every one of you.

Faith Formation: At the heart of our school is our shared commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth of our students. Throughout this term, we have embraced opportunities for prayer, reflection, and worship, deepening our relationship with God and strengthening our faith. Our students have demonstrated reverence, respect, and a genuine desire to live out the values of our Catholic faith. Together, we have fostered an environment where love, compassion, and forgiveness flourish.

Academic Excellence: Our students have displayed tremendous academic growth and achievement throughout this term. Guided by our exceptional teachers and school support officers, they have engaged in quality learning, critical thinking, and the pursuit of knowledge. Our commitment to academic excellence is rooted in the belief that every students matters and every students counts. I am proud of our students' academic achievements and their commitment to lifelong learning.

Community Engagement: Our Catholic school community thrives on the bonds we share and the collective sense of belonging. This term, we have come together to celebrate our diversity, support one another, and build strong relationships. Whether it was through parent-teacher conferences, sacramental celebrations, school events such as carnivals, gala days, Mother's Day, or extracurricular activities, our community has grown stronger as we work collaboratively to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all.

Gratitude: I want to express my deepest gratitude to our dedicated staff; classroom teachers, classroom support teachers, specialist teachers, school support officers and office staff who bring the mission of our Catholic school to life every day. Your commitment to our students' academic, spiritual, and personal development is truly remarkable. Thank you for your tireless efforts, passion, and unwavering belief in the potential of each student.

I particularly would like to thank our leadership team for their continued support and leadership of the school; Mrs Kylie Grose, Mrs Christine Smith, Ms Anne-Marie Clarkson and Mrs Cathy Lantry

To our parents and carers, thank you for entrusting us with the education and spiritual formation of your children. Your partnership, support, and active involvement in our school community are invaluable. Together, we are creating a strong foundation for their future and fostering a love for God and others.

Lastly, to our students, you are the heartbeat of our Catholic school. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and willingness to grow in faith inspire us all. Your academic achievements, acts of service, and compassionate hearts bring light to our community and the world around us. I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

As we prepare for the upcoming pupil vacation period, let us take time to reflect and strengthen our bonds with family and friends.  I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead as we continue to journey together, guided by our Catholic faith.

In Term 3 we warmly welcome back Mrs Annie Harris and Mrs Madolyn Clark, after taking parental leave. Mrs Clark will be working on Mondays and Tuesdays providing Yr 3 Support on Mondays and Middle Leader Release for Ms Anne-Marie Clarkson on Tuesdays. Mrs Harris will be providing PPT release for Yr 5 and and Yr 2 on Wednesdays and Stage 3 classroom support on Thursdays.

And of course, finally and most importantly we welcome back Mrs Charadia. We look forward to having Mrs Charadia back leading us after a much needed and well deserved break. We again, thank Mr Philip Moore for his leadership and support of our school during Term 1 and most of Term 2.

With gratitude and warm regards,

Mr Miguel Aguliera
