As always there is lots going on at CHPS! Here is just a snapshot;

  • Prep Incursions with Police and Paramedics. See a photo of a Prep using the speed radar gun to measure the speed of Preps running.
  • Year 4 Dress Rehearsal for the upcoming production ‘Hyperspace Jinx’ commencing next week
  • Whole Staff Restorative Practices training. Thanks, Cheyenne!
  • Professional development for ES Integration Aides from Calm at the Forefront on the recent Student Free day. See Bianca in a sensory body sleeve used to help children to regulate their emotions.
  • The Year 3 Excursion to the Museum
  • Staff Wellbeing Week
  • Workshops for all staff on Flourishing Classrooms and Workplaces, facilitated by Edwina Ricci and Andrea Jackson
  • Fun in the playground with Helping Hands and Playground Pals. Thanks, Seniors, for being role models in our school
  • Proud to be Me lessons for Pride Day

As always we continue to appreciate the support that we receive from parents and carers in helping children to be the best version of themselves. As the end of term approaches, please continue to remember the importance of routines and a good night’s sleep. These two aspects go a long way when everyone is tired.

Until next time,

Julie Reid  -   Assistant Principal, Wellbeing & Inclusion, on behalf of the team
