Hands on Learning & Life Skills

Last week, the Hands on Learning Cafe students and Life Skills Food students made beautifully packaged hampers of homemade biscuits for Mother's day.

Gift boxes of yo-yo biscuits, chocolate chip cookies and the school emblem-vanilla stamp cookies, were beautifully gift boxed and offered to the staff to buy for their mums, wives and special women in their lives.

The proceeds funded a special meal for the students and a portion will be donated to a local charity.

Of course students also prepared cookies to gift to their own mums and sampled a few along the way for quality control and were happy to report they tasted delicious!

The growth in confidence, skill and endeavour that has been nurtured within these students, is a joy to witness and we are so proud of their achievements!
