Term 2 Sport is up and running!

State Tennis

Wishing our Intermediate Girls tennis team (Maisy Byrne, Georgia Mahoney, Lila Mahoney, Evie Ritchie and Abbey Stobaus) the very best of luck competing at the State Tennis Finals at Dendy Park, Brighton on Friday 19 May. 

 

We hope you enjoy the experience and we are beyond proud of how much you have achieved! 

 

 

Campaspe Soccer Tournament - Senior & Intermediate Boys & Girls

Four teams participated in the Campaspe Soccer Tournament at Jack Eddy Oval in Moama on Monday 8 May. St Joseph’s College students’ showed grit and determination in the chilly conditions and never gave up.

 

Congratulations to our Senior Boys & Girls and Intermediate Boys teams on progressing through to the LMR round in Bendigo. We'd also like to acknowledge the Intermediate Girls team for reaching second place at the end of the day. 

 

A huge thank you to the staff who coached on the day, Ms Grace Hinks, Mrs Sarah Mai, Mr Rob Mai and Mr Andrea Romano.

 

Best of luck to the Senior and Intermediate Boys Soccer team at the LMR in Bendigo on Monday 22 May and our Senior Girls Soccer team, who will compete at the LMR on Thursday 1 June. 

 

Loddon Malle Region - Senior Boys & Girls AFL

Good luck to our Senior Boys AFL team competing in the LMR round of AFL in Mildura on Wednesday 24 May and to our Senior Girls AFL team kicking off in Elmore.

House Cross Country

 

The sun was shining and with a slight breeze, it was perfect conditions for our House Cross Country event! Well done to every student and staff member who ran, walked, skipped, jogged and made it across the finish line. The results are close and they will be announced on Friday 26 May during our Whole School Assembly.

 

Congratulations to the top 10 participants of each age group. The top 7 students have qualified to compete in the Campaspe Cross Country event at Echuca College on Friday 19 May. We wish them well and may the wind be behind them all the way!
