Year 11 Outdoor Ed Camp

On Wednesday 10 May the Year 11 Outdoor and Environmental Studies class set off on a long journey to Queenscliff for their camp.

Students were challenged to step out of their comfort zone through camping, cooking for themselves and snorkeling. They had the unique opportunity to venture out to a seal colony, snorkel with seals and along a coral reef, and participate in some fun boat activities. Students also witnessed a spectacular sunset and enjoyed exploring the coastal environment - a sea change from the river. We were blessed with great conditions during the snorkel and swim, and the students braved the chilly waters.

The students embraced every opportunity at camp and created some wonderful memories as a group. A big thank you to all the staff who helped plan and attend the camp.
