International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS)

During the year, PBSS offers opportunities for children in Year 2 - 6 to enter the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS), from the University of NSW. As per last year’s format, these tests will be completed online.

This year we are offering online testing for English, Mathematics and Science. Payment for these tests is to be made online, directly to UNSW Global and will close on 17 July 2020. Participation in these competitions is not compulsory. If you would like your child to participate in any of the ICAS tests follow the steps below:

Show Holiday Change

There has been a change in the Gold Coast Show holiday this year.  The new date is Friday 14th August in term 3.

Dress As a Movie Character

On Friday we are asking the students to come dressed as their favourite movie character!

A gold coin donation is being asked to raise money for the Student Council to put towards future projects for our school, also a great way to end the last day of term. We look forward to seeing all the characters!

2021 Prep Enrolments

Please contact the office to request enrolment forms for 2021 Prep intake. Enrolments are being taken now if you reside in the Palm Beach catchment area. Please contact the office on 5520 8333 to secure your child's position for 2021.

Overdue Library Books

There are a number of outstanding books that need to be returned to the Library for our half yearly stock take. Please ensure you child returns any library book or home readers that may have this week.
