Electives

We have begun our second round of electives. Current electives include Abstract Art, Media, Performance, Textiles and Cooking. Later in term three, additional elective options will be rolled out. Students are in their new groups and are enjoying some of the following activities. Students have said the following in relation to their new electives.

Year 10 Program

 

In 2020, Armstrong Creek School are offering Year 10 students who are interested, in hands-on and applied learning. The subjects will be designed for students who are interested in pathways such as VCAL, apprenticeships and getting into the workplace. 

 

In addition to the Monday to Friday program covering literacy, numeracy, specialists, electives and adolescent health. Students are also participating in exploring my future, work ready and project based learning. Work placement will be a goal for students to work towards. 

 

Projects are tailored around interest areas and skills needed for the future and pathways. Increased expectations are individualised and staged within our supported environment.
