Return to school

The school has welcomed back Year 7 to 10 students and certainly school is a much more vibrant place as a result.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the entire community - students, parents and staff - for their hard work, persistence and patience over the last two months.

The school is currently reviewing this period of learning to make sure we capture the positives of the way we teach and learn and the way we work together and communicate as a community moving forward.

Victorian Education Excellence Awards

Thornbury High has been nominated by the Department of Education at regional level for a Victorian Education Excellence Award in the category of Outstanding School Improvement. The next stage is a shortlisting process to finalise three candidates. This nomination is a testament to the dedication of our entire community in continuing to make sure we both do our best and be our best in everything we do.
