Casual Vacancy available for a Parent nominee

School councils play a key role in Victorian government schools. Participating as a school council member is a rewarding and challenging experience. The school council supports the principal to provide the b​​est possible educational outcomes for students.

School councils comprise parents, the principal, staff, and students. Many councils also have community members.

All parents or guardians of students enrolled at the school are eligible to nominate for parent membership, Tarneit Senior College currently has a casual vacancy for a parent membership and I am now seeking nominations from interested parents to become involved. Should we receive more than 1 nomination, the School Council President and Principal will consider the nominations.

Nominations for a casual vacancy parent member of school council are now open and we invite any interested parents to nominate. Nomination forms are available from the General Office. This vacancy has come about via the withdrawal of a current member and will be for 1 year.
