Sorry Day

Tuesday 26th May

St Anne’s is a proud Fire Carrier school. FIRE Carriers is an acronym for Friends Igniting Reconciliation through Education. The FIRE carrier project is an initiative of the Aboriginal Catholic Ministry which seeks to keep the Reconciliation flame alight in schools

As part of our commitment to being a FIRE Carrier school we will take the opportunity to spend National Sorry Day focusing on the Indigenous people of our country, the Aboriginals. We will have a focus on celebration and Reconciliation.

Please refer to the flexibuzz that has been sent out today, Friday 22nd May, for information about how the Junior students will celebrate this at school on Tuesday 26th May and how the Middle and Senior students will participate via their remote learning.
