An Overview of our Learning

What an amazing first week back the Foundation students have had! 

They have settled back into the routines and structures of school life with ease and the transition from Remote Learning back to the classroom was a great success. 

We have been focusing upon our 'Ready to Learn Scale' as we begin each lesson, and are extremely proud how well our students can identify what makes them ready to learn. 

To make this transition as smooth and efficient as possible, we ensured that the class environment was familiar, with similar routines in place from Term One. It was so lovely to see the wonderful big smiles on their faces when they reunited with their friends and were able to play outside on the playground! 

Most importantly, we were amazed at the excitement and motivation to begin their learning back in the classroom again, and we were all very eager to get started. 

We must say a huge thank you to all the parents and carers who have been flexible with the changes to the school routine including the entry and exit points into the classroom. 

Upwey South Primary School is a great place to learn!
