School Family Businesses

COVID-19 is presenting a massive disruption to all of our school families. Those running businesses are especially affected by physical distancing measures, so we would like to invite school families to help out as best they can during these times. Parents Association News

Welcome back to Prep, 1 and 2 families and to the other grades next Tuesday. It is so great to see the students back at school. We were so disappointed to have to cancel our Easter and Term 2 social and fundraising events due to the current pandemic.

We held a committee meeting over Zoom this week and it was great to see each other again and make some tentative plans for later in the school year.

2020 AGM / July Committee Meeting

We will be holding our 2020 Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 22 July at 7pm online. At this meeting committee members will be elected for this year (a bit later than usual). If you are interested in joining the committee and filling some of the vacant positions, please join the meeting. A Compass message with agenda and meeting link will be sent out soon. We will also be updating the PA constitution at this meeting.

Year Level Representatives

We are still looking for parents to represent each year level and help coordinate contact lists and future events. If you are interested in helping out, please email the Parents' Association or attend a future committee meeting.

Prep Family Contact List

A Compass Notice was sent out earlier this term for all interested parents to provide their contact details to be collated into a prep family contact list. If you missed this message and would like a copy of the list, please email the Parents' Association.

Grade 2 Facebook Group

If you have children in Grade 2 only and would like to join a private social media parent group, please find 'WHPS 2020 Grade 2 Families' in Facebook or click on this link https://www.facebook.com/groups/797972230678477/ to ask to join the group. It has been setup to allow families to share ideas, ask questions and support each other.
