Foster Care Week  13th to 19th September

Celebrating the Value of Carers

Foster Care Week raises awareness of Foster Carers in the community and is an opportunity to celebrate our appreciation for the invaluable contribution they make to the lives of children and young people in need. 

During this time of Covid-19 restrictions it is even more important to recognise the value of a Foster Carer’s role to nurture children and young people’s physical, mental and educational wellbeing. It is also a time to reflect on our own ability to assist with the increasing demand for foster cares.
