Foundation Update
Over the last couple of weeks, Foundation students have been learning all about money. We have been looking at the features on each coin and talking about the value. We know that the silver coins are called cents and the gold coins are dollars. There are 100 cents in 1 dollar. Even though the silver coins are bigger than the gold coins, the gold coins are still worth more. Students have been talking about how we use money and why it’s important to wait for your change when you go shopping. As a fun activity, we made our own shops at home and ‘sold’ our teddies some goods.
Here are a few pictures of our home shops.
Only one more week of remote learning for us next term and we are back at school (fingers crossed). The Foundation teachers are all looking forward to seeing everyone’s faces and giving out lots of hugs and high fives!
