Levels 3 & 4
Level 3 Update
Last week presented a unique opportunity to make a connection between our First Fleet inquiry topic and upcoming Father’s Day celebrations. The Level 3 students learnt that many convicts, prior to setting sail for Australia, would smooth the surface of a coin and write a sweet message to their loved ones they left behind. The students were then set the task of creating their own love tokens and inscribing a message to their dear Dads. Please check out their handy work in the photographs. Hopefully it warmed the hearts of our awesome fathers and they can treasure the little memento for years to come.
Level 4 Update
To finish the term, the Level 4 students have had a range of workshops from which they could choose to attend. Monday was craft day and there were 2 origami workshops and 1 making toliet roll minions. Tuesday was everyone's favourite cooking workshops with smiley face cookies, dumplings or flavoured bliss balls on offer. Wednesday was fitness or sports day wih tennis ball tricks, boot camp and PE Olympics available and on Thursday we drew pictures of our super hero front line workers and wrote letters of thanks to them. It's been a massive term of learning and we all enjoyed a chance to see the other students and teachers and have some fun along the way.
