Parent's Association

Welcome back to Term 4 from the Parent’s Association. Finally we return back to onsite learning. It is great news for all parents and teachers to have students back in their classrooms with friends and healthy routine activities.

We are looking forward to our future PA activities as we were unable to run many in 2020. We missed all events in Term 2 and 3 such as the Mother’s/Father’s Day Raffles, Cross-country fruit supply to the kids, Spoil the Staff morning tea and Footy Day Hotdogs/School birthday breakfast. So now we just need to plan for 2021!

Update on the upcoming events, considering the current restriction, the planned PA Meetup on 16th October has been cancelled. The opening of the Secondhand Uniform Shop on the 5th November will be confirmed closer to the date.

The PA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 27th November, which is an important meeting to share with the school community about what we have done in the year and to elect the PA Office Bearers for 2021. Again, it will be a very different process this year and so we will further update you about the AGM later in October.

Now that the regular footy season is finished, the PA Footy Tipping competition has concluded.  Congratulations to the following winners:-

• 1st - Matt M - $200
• 2nd - Leigh G - $125
• 3rd - Amelie H - $80
• Last - Pulkit V - $25

The tipping competition raised $200 for the school.  Thank you to everyone that participated and we look forward to the 2021 footy season were we hope crowds will be back watching footy in the stadiums in Victoria!!
