We had a number of students sit the English test this term. Congratulations to all children who participated. The following children achieved outstanding results:

Another Kindergarten Transition for 2019 was held this morning. Students enjoyed participating in a variety of activities and meeting teachers. We look forward to seeing them all again in Term 4. While this was happening, KG and KS had some buddy time in the Primary with 5/6PG.
The Primary Speech Finals will be held on Thursday, 20 September, in the School Hall. Congratulations to all Year 3-6 students for their effort and commitment to performing their speeches over the last few weeks. Students in the finals are as follows:
Year 3 – Emi Whan, Codey Uebergang, Kenzie Clarke, Max McLennan, Rory Tonkin and Dustin Uebergang
Year 4 – Elkie Sargeant, Ella Glasson, Oscar Monie, Isaac Whan, Tom Taylor and George Taylor
Year 5 – Lucy Wellard, Nic Ditchfield, Cas Marshall, Isabella Campbell, Jack Uebergang and Nick Hilton
Year 6 – Grace Taylor, Annalisa Collins, Haydan Huynh, Madeline Standerwick, Austin Taylor and Charlotte Young.
Mr Tony Dale will be the adjudicator this year. The speeches will commence at 12:00pm with the Year 3 students. It is difficult to determ ine an exact starting time for Year 4. There will then be Snack Break and afterwards the Year 5 students will commence at 1:45pm followed by Year 6. All parents are welcome to attend and watch the speeches.
A K-2 social will be held this Thursday, 20 October from 3:30pm-4:30pm in the school hall. There is no cost and students will receive a light afternoon tea. The children may bring plain clothes for the social and will be able to change into them at the end of the day. Parents are asked to collect students from classrooms at 4:30pm.
A Year 3-6 social will be held this Thursday, 20 October from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the school hall. The cost is $2 entry fee or $3 for a family. There will be a small canteen operating. All children need to be collected from the hall at 7:00pm – students are not permitted to wait in the car park.
As of the 1 September students may choose to wear either Summer or Winter uniform. They must however be in full uniform for the respective season ie. Ties and long sleeves if wearing winter uniform; no long sleeves or stockings if wearing the Summer uniform.
