CELEBRATING OUR FAITH

Feast of St Matthew
The Primary mass will be held at 9.15am this Friday at Sacred Heart Church. 3/4GD are coordinating the readings and prayers, as we gather with the Church around the world to celebrate the feast of St Matthew the evangelist.
Matthew was a tax collector, who was called to follow Jesus at Capernaum. Matthew invited Jesus to his home, prompting the scribes and pharisees to be critical of Jesus for socialising with 'tax collectors and sinners'. Jesus' response is an invitation to us all: "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners to repentance."
Parents and grandparents are welcome to join us for the mass.
Prayers this week
9G will have Reconciliation on Thursday morning in the AV room. Our assembly prayers will be led by 1/2D in the Infants, 5/6G in the Primary, and 8G in the Secondary.
