Student Contact and Medical Information in Edumate
Parents and caregivers are required to ensure that student medical information and family contact details which we hold at school is current (this is held on Edumate).
We have come across a few situations where we are using outdated information.
Your assistance in ensuring your family details & student medical information is correct for 2019 would be appreciated by you checking this no later than 15 November.
You can check the information which we have by logging on to Edumate https://gspv.edumate.net.au/saas/web/app.php/login/ and clicking on the picture icon (top right). If you can't remember your username or password please email Pauline Gilroy registrar@gspv.sa.edu.au for assistance.
Groovy Gardener Market
Next Monday, 5th November, we will have our last Groovy Gardener Market straight after school, held near the front reception.
We have had such a fabulous year in our garden club and are looking forward to our last market for the year.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our garden club students to sell by donation our school garden produce.
We would love to encourage you to come and check out what our students have been busy growing and help support our club by purchasing.
We also would love to add any produce donations to our market that you may have in excess from your own gardens.
If you would like to donate any of your produce for our stall, can you please drop it into the front office by lunch time next Monday.
Thank you so much for your continued support over the year.

Helpers Afternoon Tea
On Tuesday 6th November we will hold our annual Helpers afternoon tea and celebrate the generous work and support of volunteers within our community.
Many volunteers commit extraordinary amounts of time and energy, while others find smaller amounts of time within the constraints of the busyness of life. All are valued immensely. Volunteers ‘value add’ to school programs, events and activities, ensuring that we can continue to offer quality experiences for children while minimising costs.
Most importantly, volunteers contribute to the shaping of ‘community’ and ultimately the learning outcomes of children. When children experience their parents on the school site contributing to school life, they feel pride and receive the message that education is valued by parents. That strong message shapes the attitude of young learners and positively impacts their effort and achievements.
All volunteers are invited to share in this celebration after assembly at approximately 2.00pm in the church cafe. To assist with catering, please register your attendance with the front office staff.
