LITSTEM...

Last Thursday we went to Padua Tyabb with St Mary’s to participate in some LITSTEM activities. Before we started our activities, we did some games so we all got to know each other. The year 9 Mentors led the activities for us and we saw lots of students who went to St Joseph’s.

Litstem is a combination of LITERACY and STEM.

We had a music activity where we used guitars and a seed planting activity in the Hands on Learning Centre. The activities were really enjoyable and it gave us a chance to spend time at Padua and to become familiar with the school and to mix with the St Mary’s students who we might go to secondary school with.
