MINI VINNIE’S AT PADUA

Last Thursday we went to Padua Tyabb to meet with their Social Justice Team and the Social Justice team from St Mary’s. 

Together with the Social Justice Team from St Brendan’s, we will be working on a Parish Mini Vinnie’s project. 

We brainstormed exploring what Social Justice meant and what our dreams for helping people are. We talked about what Social Justice means at our school, within our community, within our Parish, in Australia and World Wide.

It was great to mix with other students from our Parish and to share ideas.

We came up with the common themes of care, equality, a helping hand, dignity, needs of people. We listed all the ways our schools raise money to help those in need.

This project will continue through the year and we will meet regularly to plan our action.
