Quiz Night

A highlight for the boarding community each year is Quiz Night. We were so pleased to have all of boarding come together on Sunday 7 August in the school hall and compete over six trivia rounds, for a multitude of prizes. Students were sent to their tables, combining the various year groups, Houses and talents, and told the colour they were representing. There were prizes for individually best dressed, best team presentation and other competitions throughout the night. The colours, diversity and dedication to the teams was superb! 

Best dressed prizes, after a fashion show walk around the hall, went to Austin Brown, Berkley Somerscales and Madi Smart. Each of these winners were awarded vouchers to Dome Café and the seven runners up received vouchers for Domino’s Pizzas. The theme for the table drawing design was the ‘Commonwealth Games’ and was won by the White table. The Pink table won the trivia rounds, followed by the White table and the Black table was third. There was much laughter, as contestants tried to explain their Mr Squiggle drawings and we discovered Henry Smith’s artistic talents. Many prizes were chosen by winners throughout the evening and everyone had a fun evening.
