Diamond Valley Athletics Club
The Diamond Valley Athletic Club invites students - & their parents - interested in a season of Cross Country running with Athletics Victoria, to register their interest with DVAC Registrar, Lyn Davis on mob: 0409 005 406 or email: ldavis_20@bigpond.com
Competition age groups for girls and boys are Under 14, Under 16, Under 18 and Under 20. As well, the competition is available to Open age, 40+ & 50+ age categories. Training sessions under qualified Coaches are conducted on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at Willinda Park, Greensborough from 4:30pm. These sessions are free to club members.
The 2022 Winter season offers a mixture of Cross Country & Road running to cater for all abilities.

FREE Cultural Competency training: Working with the Somali Australian community – Book in now for your team!
The Diverse Communities team at Banyule Youth Services have developed a 2 hour Cultural Competency training for local services who work with or want to engage the local Somali Australian community. Learn about Somali culture and the religion of Islam. Find out how your service can promote to, work with and support Somali families.

FREE Drug & Alcohol Education Program for Parents & Carers of Somali-Australian Young people
The Diverse Communities (Saldhig) team has had the opportunity to consult with parents and carers from our local community to discuss important topics such as drug and alcohol amongst our young people. We are now able to launch our upcoming education program for parents & carers of Somali-Australian young people impacted by someone’s drug and alcohol use.

YOUTH SUMMIT – REPORT CARD PRESENTATION
Banyule Youth Services invite you to join us to hear about projects young people and Council have implemented from the Summit recommendations. In 2021 Banyule Youth came together to discuss topics that matter to them. A series of recommendations were presented to Council to improve their lives, those of their peers and to better their community and environment for all. We ask you to join us to come together to celebrate the outcomes young people have achieved!

Wear It Purple Day
In the lead up for the celebration of Wear It Purple Day, headspace Greensborough invites young people to an afternoon activity of keychain making. This is a FREE & inclusive event of LGBTQIA+ and ally identifying young people.
No artistic experience nor materials are necessary to bring. Snacks & drinks will be provided.
