Principals' Update

Parent Teacher Interviews

Bookings are now open for families to make a time for online Parent Teacher Interviews.  The interviews are being held via WebEx on the following days:  

• Mon 1st Aug from 1:30-6:40pm (classroom teachers) 
• Mon 1st Aug from 3:40-6:40pm (specialist teachers)
• Tues 2nd Aug from 2:40-4:40pm (classroom teachers only).

Bookings can be made through the interview tab on Compass. Please click on the link in your portal which will direct you to the bookings page.  If you are booking on your phone, click conferences instead of opening in browser. Your teacher has sent their WebEx details via Compass. If you have any questions, please contact the front office.

SEDA

The 5/6 students took part in the SEDA Sports Open Day yesterday. It was a great success, with the students participating in clinics in basketball, soccer and AFL. They even got to meet Dustin Fletcher from Essendon!

Wet Weather Donations

It has been exciting to see a hint of spring coming through this week and it is always wonderful when we get to head outside for play times at this time of the year. A big thank you to families who have sent in Wet Weather donations of toys and games which have been a big hit in the classrooms when we can’t get outside on rainy days. If you are keen to clean out the cupboards at home, we continue to welcome further donations.

Masks

We want to thank everyone in the community for supporting mask wearing at school following the communications earlier this week. Cases are expected to continue to rise for some weeks, and mask wearing within our school will assist in reducing possible transmission.

Unfortunately we are still seeing a number of students and staff feeling under the weather. In these times, we thank everyone for helping to keep everyone in the school community healthy by remaining at home and resting if you are unwell.
