3-6 News
Dear Parents, Guardians and community members of 3-6 students 2020, we are super excited for the events that are coming up this semester and can’t wait to share them with you.
What’s new?
New to our Sub School is our recently introduced reward system. It includes receiving points for good behaviour, following the SWPBS and trying out for school events. These points can be traded for fun prizes.
Another new thing happening at Point Cook College is the canteen run by H&H canteen. Students and teachers from all ages and year levels have the opportunity to buy something from the canteen during lunch and snack time. Students also can have a lunch order that they pick up during lunch eating time. Each homeroom has a lunch order box. Lunch orders can be ordered online. The snacks at the canteen are priced from 20¢-$5.50
What’s on?
It’s a very busy start to the year so far! We have lots of exciting events coming up like the PCC Community Fun Day which is on the 21st of March!
The fun day will include rides, food trucks, market stalls and much more! If you are interested in the fun day and would like to attend check out this website

Don’t forget our ride 2 school day is every Friday and make sure you ride or walk to school for either a token or a raffle ticket to win a prize.
3-6 sport!
If you feel you are great at running long distances, We recommend trying out for the 3-6 cross country.
CONGRATULATIONS on the 3-6’s that made it thus far in the district swimming Carnival and good luck in future races.
Congratulations to the students of 5-6 that have made it into the inter school sport teams.
Don’t forget the athletics carnival is coming up in early term 2.
We have recently introduced a new subject at our school called Bike Ed. This is where students learn about the road rules and how to ride their bike.
Bike Ed is learnt in ⅚. The school is only able to supply a limited amount of bikes, so if you have a bike at home we would like you/ your child to bring it in on their bike ed day.
Awesome Assembly
We are super excited to announce that our first assembly of 2020 will be held on the last day of term , details to be comfirmed.
We will have awards for students who demonstrate our College expected behaviours. Students will receive certificates for their fantastic behaviour. We highly encourage all students to show the school values and follow the SWPBS to receive a really cool award! We are excited to see who gets an award at our first assembly of 2020.
Thank you for reading the term 1 week 6 PCC newsletter. We hope everyone enjoys their long weekend.
sincerely,
2020 Junior College Captains, Joseph Adametz, Lou Lou Baxter, Faye Gracio Lan and Sienna Pool.
