Principal's Report

End of Term 3

It has been an exciting week to end a busy Term 3 and we wish all families a safe and relaxing break.

Foundation & Year 1 | Circus Performance

Monday 17 September

Throughout Term 3 our students have been undertaking inquiries that explore the Transdisciplinary Theme ‘How We Express Ourselves’. One of the experiences was for the students to learn circus skills and on Monday the students showcased their learning with their parents in an engaging performance. The performance was held at the Besen Theatre in Burwood and was a fabulous event. Special thank you to Hayden from The Circus Crew as well as the Foundation and Year 1 teachers for encouraging and supporting the students.

Year 5 & 6 Musical | Aladdin Jnr

Wednesday 19 September & Thursday 20 September

Our Year 5 and 6 students were outstanding in their musical performance, ‘Aladdin Jr’ . Not only did these students showcase their fantastic talents on the night, but they also demonstrated incredible commitment and dedication during the rehearsal period. A rewarding and amazing experience for all involved, both on stage and behind the scenes. Congratulations to all students involved!

A huge thank you and congratulations to Lucy Lennox, the director of the musical, for her tireless commitment to the show. We would also like to thank Ron Mannix, Archie Jacobs, Jasmine Cergol, Claire Harvey-Beavis, Kirsty Bone, Armann Kumruyan, Caitlin Murphy, Liam Wilkinson, Leah Moloney, Fiona Bashford and Stacey Harman - without them, the show would not have been possible.

Term | 4 Hats

As Term 4 is a SunSmart term, could you please ensure your child has their school hat clearly labelled and ready for Week 1. Students that do not have their hats will be required to sit outside the canteen under the shade sails during recess and lunch.
