School Concert 2018
Concert Day Important Information
Friday, 24 August 2018 - Frankston Arts Centre
Parents, please read the following information carefully. It outlines the arrangements for ‘concert day’. If there are any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or office staff.
CONCERT REHEARSAL - FRIDAY, 24 AUGUST 2018
• We will be having our Whole School Concert Rehearsal on the morning of performance day.
• Buses will depart the school at 9.05am sharp, and return at approximately 1.00pm.
• The students will need to bring a snack/fruit/drink in a named disposable bag to school, to take to the Frankston Arts Centre.
• Students will have lunch after arriving back at school.
EARLY SCHOOL PICK UP TIME - FRIDAY, 24 AUGUST 2018
Students will have the opportunity to be picked up at 2.30pm on Friday, 24 August 2018. If families are picking up early, please make your way directly to your child’s classroom teacher to sign your child out. Any remaining children will be supervised within the school environment until the normal dismissal time of 3.30pm. Before and After School Care will be operating from 2.30 pm.
UPON ARRIVAL AT THE THEATRE - Students are required to arrive at 6:30pm for organisational purposes. All students are to enter via the main entrance then to the immediate left - Rotary/Peninsula Function Room. They will be greeted by a staff member who will direct them to their class teacher.
ARRIVAL & PICK-UP ARRANGEMENTS AT THE THEATRE For student safety and to ensure that dismissal runs as smoothly as possible, please follow the procedures set out below.
- 1. Children can only be dropped off and picked up from the nominated points in the foyer.
- 2. Only one adult or family member to the arrival or dismissal point, to avoid congestion.
- 3. Please walk your child to the doorway and move on quickly. This will help with congestion.
- 4. Students must be marked off the class roll upon arrival and before leaving the centre.
- 5. Please be patient as we will be dismissing a lot of children at the same time – safety is our priority.
PICK-UP AFTER CONCERT – No students are able to leave prior to the closing of the concert. Children are to be picked up from the foyer area, at designated ‘pick-up points’. Signs will be prominently displayed at the various ‘pick-up points’.
FINISHING TIME We expect the concert to finish at 9:15pm approximately.

DVD's will be available to purchase for $22.00 each. Please return the envelope to the office. Unfortunately CSPS can only accept Cash.
