Forensic Science
Year 9
What is the subject about?
Forensic science combines all aspects of science including biology, chemistry and psychology. In this elective, students will be participating in a range of mini-units that simulate the key areas of forensics. Students will develop their analytical skills; investigating data of blood splatter patterns, fingerprinting, trace evidence, as well as the role that forensics plays in a number of industries. They will be required to document their findings and apply this to various case studies.
