Year 9
What is the subject about?
At year 9, Outdoor Education runs alongside the Duke of Edinburgh Award. The world recognised program is designed to empower participants to explore their full potential and find purpose, passion and place in the world. The Award is a fully inclusive program, that will teach important life skills, and taking responsibility for their goals. Student voice and adjacency will be used to guide excursions and activities as students develop their connection with the outdoor environments.
To be successful students must develop a skill, improve their physical well-being, take the time to volunteer in their community and complete an extended journey in a new environment with their peers
