Religious Education

Year 7 Religious Education have been learning about various forms of prayer within their current unit Belief, Practice and Prayer. We have looked at Catholic prayers such as the Nicene Creed and key scriptural passages such as the 10 Commandments and the Beatitudes. 

Students have also learnt about some of the different types of prayers such as prayers of intercession, petition and thanksgiving. For fun we also created visual representations and videos of popular hymns. It was no surprise that My Lighthouse was very popular and other favourites were Shine Jesus Shine, Hearts on Fire and Lord Reign in Me.
