Father's Day
Thank you to Jai De Stefanis and her team for organising our Father's Day stall on Wednesday. The children thoroughly enjoyed the shopping experience and the opportunity to choose the perfect gift for their dad or special men in their lives. It was also beautiful to have our father's and special men be able to make it into our classrooms on Thursday morning. Thanks to those Dad's who were able to stay on for a chat and Morning Tea afterwards.
Thank you to Caroline O'Sullivan, Melanie Tobias, Natasha Carroll, Sarah Awad, Rosie Dumbrell and Liz Schwarm for organising, setting up and serving Morning Tea.
Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools - School Improvement Surveys (MACSSIS)
All families would have received an email on Monday 29 August asking for your participation in MACSSIS this year and login details to access the family survey. If you did not receive an email or if you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact ORIMA Research on 1800 654 585 or macssis@orima.com, or Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) on macssis@macs.vic.edu.au.
We highly encourage all families to participate in this survey to help identify the strengths and areas for improvement in our school. MACSSIS data benefits everyone within our school and provides valuable community insights on areas that each school can focus on. Our school believes it is important to encourage families to have a voice and contribute to shaping the ongoing improvement of the school.
The survey can be accessed until 16 September. Thank you to the families who have already completed the survey.
Wellbeing activities and conversation starters for parents (Help Seeking)
In these challenging times, it is important to normalise asking for help. Your child will learn to recognise situations in which to seek help, identify trusted people in their lives to ask for help and practice asking for and providing help.
