Kitchen Garden Program Activities

Once again, we have had many students out in our garden working away with Felicity Wallace, planting and cooking. It has been delightful to see the kids enjoying the experiences beyond the classroom. 

Last Friday, the 5/6’s and the Foundation students had a wonderful time, shovelling mulch around the newly-planted fruit tree orchard, as well as weeding and interacting with the hens.

In our next session we are going to be cooking yummy pinwheels, and I am sure the students will have as much fun as they did when they made damper.
