Year 10 Work Experience

 

During Week 2, approximately forty Year 10 students participated in the College’s work experience program. Students worked alongside employers and supervisors in a number of industries, including a variety of trades, education and early learning, retail, engineering, music and performance, animal care, and allied health services. All students were highly commended by their host employers for the initiative and enthusiasm shown during the week. 

 

The College congratulates the students who participated in the program and thanks the host employers who gave their time to guide the students in their respective industries.

Year 11 Work Placement 

 

This week Year 11VET students are on work placement in the Gunnedah community. Seven Primary industry students are working with local veterinary clinics, agronomists, stock and station agents and farming enterprises. Zara Bartlett is also completing her work placement for Business Services at Winanga-Li Aboriginal Child and Family Centre. Mr James and Mrs Isbester are grateful to our host employers and wish the students an enjoyable week in the real world!
