CSO Writing Competition

The winners of the CSO Writing Competition were announced last week.

The competition this year was fierce, with the judge choosing to nominate Highly Commended entries in each category to allow him to acknowledge the quality of writing and the depth of the themes explored by the entrants.

With 158 entries, it took some time to complete the judging and conclude the winners for each category. Congratulations to the winners! We look forward to seeing your stories published as eBooks in SORA in term 4.

Two of our students were successful. Patrick Waterford won the Yr7-9 section and Alyssa Wise was Highly Commended.

This is very exciting as Pat now has his story illustrated and published on the SORA platform nationwide!

Also congratulations to Sophie Greet who worked with the students writing their story in the Literacy classes. Please enjoy their pieces below.

All entrants are encouraged to keep an eye on the website for next year's theme, which will be announced at the start of term 4.
